View Events CalendarHOST YOUR OWN YOGAWOMAN SCREENING
Experience the inner peace together and host a screening for all your friends, neighbors, mothers’ group, family and community. It’s a great way to bring people together, raise awareness about the benefits of yoga and celebrate women. You don't need to own a cinema. If you can play a DVD, you can bring people together to see this film.
To plan a screening please purchase the Yogawoman DVD from the Yogawoman Movie Store. Please allow plenty of time for shipping and enough time for testing and technical set up. (Note that with standard international shipping delivery can be anywhere
between 18-30 days between ordering and receiving, so plan your
screening date allowing plenty of time.)
To plan your screening you will need to sign up first -see details below, before your screening has been legally permitted.
We are delighted to offer Yogawoman to you and your community to enjoy. If you would like to host a ticketed event please note we charge a Rental Screening Fee to cover our costs of $250 or 40% of the takings, whichever is greater.
To host a Yogawoman community screening for a small audience (10-40 people) we will permit you to screen the film for free and you must offer your event for FREE. If you want to cover costs or fund-raise you can ask for a donation from the audience, offering the opportunity to support your Not for Profit. Please do not put a price on this suggested donation as it then become a ticketed event that will warrant a Screening Rental Fee.
If you are planning a larger event like a Cinema screening, Conference or Festival there is a Screening Rental Fee and Yogawoman will receive a percentage of the ticket price. Please write to us directly info@yogawoman.tv if you would like to discuss your event.
Please Note: Once your screening has been submitted to Yogawoman and posted on the Yogawoman Events Calendar, you may then go ahead and advertise your event.
all you need to do is apply these easy steps:

Super Girrrll.....
By Dr. Beth Berila
When I was little, I wanted to be Wonder Woman. Linda Carter rocked my world, and I even tried to make her snazzy red white and blue costume out of paper one year for Halloween. (It didn’t work).
How many of us, though, have learned that we have to be super woman to be good at our jobs at work and in life? How many of us hold ourselves to impossibly high standards and feel that the only way to be truly good at what we do is to be invincible? To, like Wonder Woman in her invisible jet, hide the messy work of our own, human journey?

From the Inside / Yogagirls becoming Yogawomen
By Mary Lynn Fitton. Founder, The Art of Yoga Project
It was the day before Thanksgiving at San Mateo County’s Camp Kemp Juvenile detention facility. Holidays are always an especially rough time for girls locked up away from family and friends. At The Art of Yoga Project (AYP), we not only hold yoga and art classes on holidays, we try to think of special ways to inspire the girls. We decided a movie showing would be just the thing. And not just any movie, but one which they could personally relate to and see themselves in a new, hopeful light. Read On....
