Desirée Rumbaugh


Desirée Rumbaugh was one of the first students to study with John Friend, and one of the first to be certified in the Anusara method of yoga. She now travels the world offering innovative and transformative workshops. Desirée has released two DVDs designed for those who have avoided yoga because of a lack of flexibility, low fitness level or chronic pain: Yoga to the Rescue and Yoga to the Rescue for Back Pain. Desirée contributes to various organizations and publications, includingYoga Journal.


It’s sneaky this yoga, it’s so sneaky, it goes in and it transforms every part of your life, it changes your desires, it changes the friends you want to hang out with and that helps too so little by little we lead each other into simpler ways of living and we look back and wonder how did I get here, but I like it here.
