Nora Isaacs, formerly a senior editor at Yoga Journal, is a freelance health journalist, writing coach, and the author of Women in Overdrive: find balance and overcome burnout at any age. Her work has appeared in Alternative Medicine, Yoga Journal, Body & Soul, Fit Yoga, Salon, Natural Health, the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, and many other national and regional publications. Isaacs earned her MA from Columbia Journalism School. She writes and teaches yoga in San Francisco, CA, where she lives with her husband and sons.
